My Magazine Name..

I have been working to decide what to call my music magazine, i narrowed the names down to two choices, the first of which is 'CLIQUE' and the other 'EGO'in order to decide what title to go with I have analysed both masthead names.

Analysis of 'Clique' 

• The definition of clique is 'a small close-knit group of people who do not readily allow others to join them'
• This relates to the niche target audience that i have chosen for my magazine 
• The group of people i aim to please are familiar with the concept of a clique
• Clique is also a popular song released by Jay z, Big Sean and Kayne west on 6/11/2012

Analysis of 'Ego'

• The definition of Ego is 'a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance'
• This again could be seen to appeal to my target audience due to the high egos shown by the genres artists
• Ego is a Beyonce song of her I Am.. Sasha Fierce album 

After analyzing both masthead names I have chosen to go with Clique, i think the concept is more relate able to my niche target audience than that of ego
